Skeleton Crew was Stephen King's twenty-first published book and his second short story collection after Night Shift. Most notably, Skeleton Crew includes King's novella The Mist, which became hugely popular and was later developed into a film by director Frank Darabont. The collection also includes "The Revelations of Becka Paulson," which King incorporated into his novel The Tommyknockers (1987).
