ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST

New York: The Viking Press, 1962. First edition. One of only two copies we have ever seen sporting what we would describe as "the original colors," with a screamingly bright orange topstain.

As with Patricia Highsmith's "The Talented Mr. Ripley," this title has a jacket that tends to fade uniformly when exposed over time to even normal ambient light. The jacket here retains its original deep greens, reds, and whites. Minutely rubbed at a couple of corners, else Fine in a Fine dust jacket. Rare in this condition.

Kesey's masterpiece, a cornerstone of modern fiction and an enduring study of the insitutional process and the human mind. Basis for the 1975 film, directed by Milos Forman, starring Jack Nicholson, and winner of all five major Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
Fine in Fine dust jacket. (Item #676)
