Bound with an additional six contemporary legal tracts, all later editions. Some scuffing and shelfwear to boards; both joints cracked and bit tender but holding. Armorial bookplate of Lewis Morris, Esq. to front pastedown. Toning and scattered foxing throughout, with occasional marginal dampstaining.

A collection of 18th century legal texts, with the highlight being the 1722 first edition reporting on lawyer Christopher Layer's conviction for attempted regicide. (Item #4963)
