Walter Harrison Cady (1877-1970) was an American illustrator and author, best known for his Peter Rabbit comic strip which he wrote and drew for twenty-eight years. He had a long career as a newspaper and magazine illustrator, as well as illustrating numerous children's books. Some of his most delightful drawings were in The Raggedy Animal Book which featured both fantastic and realistic animal illustrations. (Item #3584)
